Have you got time to volunteer to support a volunteer? 

could you spare one or two hours a week supporting a young person to volunteer or to engage in a social activity?


Volunteering Matters Futures Project enables young people with special educational needs and disabilities to play an active role in their community with support from a volunteer. The project aims to increase the confidence of the young people by offering them the opportunity to try new activities and develop new friendships
VOLUNTEERING MATTERS 06-17
Do any of the following appeal to you?
supporting a young person with additional needs to volunteer:

at a community café

or

outdoors doing gardening or conservation activates

or

serving refreshment to residents in a care home

or

to engage in social activities like bowling, shopping, playing sports

or…

let us know your particular interests and we will aim to match you with a young person who will benefit from your own enthusiasm and experience


In return for your time, you will receive out of pocket expenses, relevant training, and lots of support from the staff team
