The Bible says, ”Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth! Sing about the glory of his name! Tell the wviewpoints cross logo jpegorld how glorious he is” (psalm 66). That’s what I want to do today. Revelation 12:11 say “Always testify of the Lords goodness”. He has done so much for us that we can be thankful for. New every morning are his mercies, and he loads us daily with his benefits. Without him the sun wouldn’t shine, rain wouldn’t fall, crops wouldn’t grow. His love never fails.    Because he loves us so much he sent Jesus into our world, to live and die for us.

Jesus knows how tough life can be sometimes, so he says to us, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls.” The world can be a heavy place, a hard burden, but Jesus came to give us a life of peace, serenity and rest in the midst of a harsh and troubled world. He has come to give all men a rest from their burdens.

But sadly some people don’t accept his offer and have found that life has become a great struggle for them. But there is still that way out – “Come to me”, he says. And those people who have, those who have given him their burdens and accepted the help he offers, have found peace to their souls. They Dove righthave become born again, born not by the will of man, but by the will of God. They literally become God’s children. They become a new creation.

A brand new species of being that has never existed before. They start from scratch - born again, but this time with God as their father.   They are no longer sinners trying to be righteous; they are righteous, because they have the righteousness of Christ given to them. This is all part of the wonder and the mystery of God’s redemption for us and to us through Christ. They are born into the kingdom of God and become holy and righteous people through Christ. Give him the glory.

If you are a child of God, the next time you make a request of the father, don’t beg as though you are a servant. You are the father’s heir, and joint heir with Christ. God has brought us into the kingdom of his dear son. God has purchased our freedom with his blood and has forgiven us our sins. To him are all honour and praise and glory for now and forever.
