ABOUT RESOUND WORSHIP

Joel Payne (seen above) is Gorleston born and bred and, having previously worked as Worship Pastor at both St Michael le Belfrey in York and St James in Muswell Hill, now heads up Resound Worship

Resound is a team of writers who work collaboratively to produce new, quality worship songs for the church, as well as producing a podcast and running workshops and retreats for other songwriters

Joel recently oversaw the creation of a new charity, the Song & Hymn Writers Foundation, which has become the umbrella within which Resound and its sister organisation, Jubilate, operate as they look to grow their work with churches and individual writers. He is also a seasoned songwriter himself, with What Kind of Throne and Come, Let's Sing among his most popular titles

In his spare time he is an enthusiastic runner and pizza chef
