Easter Egg Hunt 2018aEaster Saturday promises to be a fun afternoon for the community on the Magdalen Estate in Gorleston

St Mary Magdalene Church, which sits at the heart of the estate on the Magdalen Square, is inviting all community members to join in with their first community Easter egg hunt on Easter Saturday 31st March

Residents will be able to pick up a trail guide from the church between 2pm and 3pm. They can then follow the trail around the estate and solve the clues, returning to the church to collect their prize.  There will be chocolate eggs and hot cross buns to reward all participants

Rev Matthew Price, who was licensed as curate-in-charge of St Mary Magdalene Church in January, commented, “we hope that it will be a really fun afternoon, getting the whole community out together”

Mr Price continued “We also hope Easter Saturday will be taste of things to come on the Mag. As a church community our aim is to contribute to and facilitate a number of different kinds of community events and groups over the next few years - any ideas and volunteers are welcome!”
