Heavenly Father, Thank You for the specific details You have given us about the life of Jesus and the disciples
Lord Jesus, when You met with the disciples on the banks of the Sea of Galilee it must have been a bumper day for fish!! 153 large fish and the nets did not burst. I wonder what the disciples did with the fish.  Sold them and lived on the profits I suppose, or perhaps they gave them all away, like when You fed 5000 with just two fish but for every fish they sold or gave away perhaps they told the story of where it came from!  I don't know how many people can be fed by a large fish but I am fairly sure that each person who ate from it knew its origin and many people believed because of it, perhaps even some of the 3000 saved on the day of Pentecost!
Your Word never comes back empty, nor does a single fish I would think! Lord I am not a fisherman but would love to fish as the first disciples did, for souls. Knowing that someone has transferred from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of Light must be the greatest joy we can know; I am sure it must be an awesome sound when the angels roar in victory and sing a song of salvation when someone is saved
Help me to recognise the person You have set Your heart upon, who is ready for harvest and wants to accept Jesus as Saviour and Lord. Let me sing a song celebration, my melody in unison with the angels when someone is hooked and says "Yes!" to Jesus. Thank You for saving me. Amen
