ENYFC prayer diary for November 2018

ENYFC LOGO 2018
We are about seeing young people's lives changed by Jesus

Registered Charity Number 1118022

“will sing for Joy In God, explode In praise from deep In my soul! He dressed me up in a suit of salvation, he outfitted me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom who puts on a tuxedo and a bride, a jewelled tiara" (Isaiah 61 v 10)

GYHS 07-2018After last month's newsy update things are a bit quieter this month.
We are still declaring the truth of Isaiah chapter 61 over the young people, families, businesses and homes in the town and were looking forward to the next term; the anticipation and excitement of the impending celebration of the greatest event in history; Jesus coming to earth as a baby boy!

The school is settling Into their second year of the new structure and OW Year 9 girl said last month, that she couldn't imagine NOT walking in single file in silence in the corridors!

Please continue to pray that the head and the Leadership Team will allow The Sense to visit in March 2019

THEOS 11-2018THEOS is continuing to bring us some interesting questions.
Two of the Year 11s asked what the Bible says about stress and dealing with pressure of exams. They proceeded to write out Philippians 4 v 6-10 as we discussed
how that works in reality

As we open the office for the young people to "drop in" on a Tuesday after school (if they don't want to go to ETP) there were more questions about discipline and the Biblical perspective as the Year 11s are studying corporal and capital punishments in school

ETP continues with fluctuating numbers as the older ones have more homework and can't always make it. Even so, it's a great opportunity to give the young people quality time and attention in their chaotic and hectic lives

YOUTH CAFE 11-2018YOUTH CAFE  Thank God for His beautiful children: Louise, Michelle, Susan, Sue, Amilcar, Erny, and Livvy who give their time so faithfully to accommodate these young people and show them Jesus. We've had some interesting conversations with those who are on a journey with Jesus — as they try to see how this is a lifestyle, not just something that fits in at any given time when they're feeling like it. There have been two instances at the Café when their patience has been tested by some irritating "situations" and arguments with others. Please pray that they will meet with Jesus in a very real encounter

WEC Plus  More interesting discussions around the 10 Commandments and the Prodigal Son this month

MAP 11-2018MAP Young@Arts Festival We love to partner with other churches and organisations who are passionate about young people and on Wednesday we had a great time spray painting some graffiti on the wall opposite Great Yarmouth Library

Next time you're in town, have a look!
