Messy Church Remembers

as published by St Andrew's Church in the Gorleston Community Magazine

Children and families who attend St Andrew's Messy Church helped to create some stunning artwork as part of the church's 100 Years' Commemoration on November 11th. The project, which was led and installed by local artist, Tracey Goffe, included black and white images from World War 1 set against a painted backdrop with words of remembrance, and poppies made by the children
A vivid and poignant reminder of the 'messiness' of war, the display was accompanied by a peace rainbow, covered with doves representing the congregation's thoughts and prayers for peace. Messy Church meets in St Andrew's Chapter House every 2nd Wednesday at 4.30pm
