Ladies Healing Day Conference at Gorleston Baptist Church

1st October 2019
Veronica Baldwin reports

 SOZO

On September 14th we welcomed ladies from different churches in Gorleston to our Ladies Healing Day, led by Christine West, of Sozo Healing Ministry (see below), and Deborah Jennings, of Kingdom Life Church in Norwich.  We started off with a time of worship then Christine led the first session

HEALING DAY 09-2019She spoke on the need to forgive:
If we hold unforgiveness in our hearts and refuse to let it go it will do all sorts of damage to our physical and mental health as well as our spiritual well-being. Our healing cannot happen until that is sorted out

Food for thought:
We broke for lunch and a time to get to know one another

After lunch Deborah Jennings led us into the final session where she spoke about physical healing

We were encouraged to know that we all have the capability of healing one another, as it’s not us who heals, but the Lord.

Deborah asked people who had back and neck problems to stand, and then asked people around them to pray for them

Next we were encouraged to pray for people around us who wanted prayer

We are praying that God will do more signs and wonders through his people for the glory of his name

What is Sozo?

Bethel Sozo is a relational network committed to bringing inner healing, wholeness, and freedom to individuals
Scripture

The Greek word, Sozo, appears many times in scripture and is translated “saved, healed, delivered”

In Salvation - “That if you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved (sozo)” Romans 10:9

Healing - “But Jesus turning and seeing her said ‘Daughter take courage your faith has made you well (sozo) and at once the woman was made well (sozo)” Matthew 9:22

Deliverance - “And those who had seen it reported to them how the man who was demon-possessed had been made well (sozo)” Luke 8:36

Bethel SOZO is a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry in which the main aim is to get to the root of those things hindering a person’s connection with their heavenly Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit

This is likely to involve repentance, forgiving others, healing wounds and renouncing lies believed and replacing them with truth
