Conversation about climate change event

Fifty people came along to 'A Conversation about Climate Change' at the Chapel Coffee House in Ormesby on Tuesday evening. The event was part of Norfolk Wildlife Trust's series of 25 events to celebrate 25 years of the Trinity Broads Project


The keynote speaker was Asher Minns from the UEA's Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, who explained the science of climate change in an engaging and informative presentation

The main talk was followed by an introduction to the Broadland Futures Initiative by Gavin and Peter from the Environment Agency
Many people of all ages from local villages, Great Yarmouth, and Norwich came along, and asked questions and shared ideas, as well as enjoying delicious cakes!

Local eco-businesses Green Dreaming and Rollesbee Wraps set up popup shops to sell their eco-friendly products
Eilish Rothney, from the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, is running three more Climate Change Conversations in the local area this year. The next one is on Tuesday 26th March at 7pm in Filby Village Hall
