A meeting room for small groups with use of kitchen and garden, close to the centre
of town. N.B. not fully disabled accessible and no parking of our own – adjacent to
Palmers’ pay and display car park

OUR STRENGTHS:
As Quakers recognise that of god in everyone we welcome those of any faith or none
who wish to worship in the manner of Friends.

OF INTEREST
The original building on site was a cell of the Gorleston Augustinian Priory and was
established c1339; part of the original structure may be seen in the undercroft. After
the dissolution of monasteries it became a warehouse and was acquired by Quakers
as a Meeting House in 1694, making it one of the oldest places of worship in the
Borough
