Jesus chose to die for you

Jesus chose to die for you. He chose to die for me. Would any of us do this great an act of sacrifice for anyone?
His blood was shed. His blood. His precious blood. The blood of Jesus was spilt, dripped, gushed, seeped out for you and for me. Blood. Pain. Excruciating pain
Isaiah says He was "unrecognisable" as a man. Try and imagine that. I can't. Even with all the horror, computer graphics etc we have at our disposal. "Unrecognisable" He was so torn, beaten, ripped and disfigured. Not just politely covered in tomato ketchup, or the red cross making Him look beaten with makeup. He was unrecognisable
He took this punishment from men through choice. He surrendered Himself to death, looking forward to our salvation. You and me. Think on this. Think of what it cost Him. Think of what He died for. Shed His blood for
Yet so often we throw it back in God's face repeatedly. Some of us walk away from Him, after being His. Come to Him today. "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow." Allow your Saviour, Jesus, to wash you clean. Come to Him now, a sinner and find your home in Him. In Jesus’ name. Thanks be to God. Amen. GLORY GLORY GLORY!!!
