James Paget Hospital Chaplaincy
Pastoral care for all - all of the time
Welcome to the Chaplaincy service at the James Paget University Hospitals
What our Chaplains do
Our Chaplains are a multi-faith/multi-denominational team offering spiritual and pastoral care to all patients, staff and visitors at the Trust
In addition to weekly chapel services our Chaplains will be pleased to administer the sacraments on the wards or pray with those unable to attend the chapel
If you would like to see a Chaplain during your stay please ask the ward staff to contact the appropriate Chaplain for you
We are here for the whole of the hospital community
We are here for patients, relatives, visitors and members of staff
We work closely together to care for people of all faiths and traditions and for people who do not belong to any religious organisation
To those who practise a Christian faith we offer a ministry of prayer and sacrament including bedside communion and various weekly Chapel Services
To those who practise other faiths we will try to contact a faith leader of your own faith or belief
To those without any religious affiliation we offer human warmth and a confidential listening ear
