Theme Songs for Bible Characters
Amid all the lockdown 2 meters apart just being able to see family, I thought a light-hearted look at some songs. Just be careful, some (like me) are old ones:
Noah – Raindrops keep falling on My Head
Adam and Eve –Strangers in Paradise
Esther – I Feel Pretty
Moses – The Wanderer
Peter – I’m Sorry
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego – Great Balls of Fire
And, The Wise Men – When You Wish Upon a Star
We can also suggest for Jesus – 'A New Song' and first sung by those two famous groups, 'The Four Living Creatures' and 'The Twenty Four Elders'
“You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; For you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God: And we shall reign on the earth….Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive and glory and blessing power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honour!” (Revelation 5: 9-10,12)
During this time of Coronavirus things have been strange, new ways to do everyday tasks, new way to do church, new way to wait your turn at shops. One thing never changes, The Love of the Lord Jesus Christ, He is the ever constant in our lives and He will see us through
