Yarmouth gospel choir invites new members
Yarmouth gospel choir invite new members
As they start a new term, The Happy Day Gospel Choir welcomes you to join them or host a concert
The Happy Day Gospel Choir which meets at Caister Methodist Church, near Great Yarmouth, is starting a new term on Friday September 6
New members are invited to join them for what Lolo Wynans, one of the founding members describes as "some uplifting, joyful, groovy (and usually slightly anarchic) Gospel singing!" She continues: "all are welcome to share the love and joy, regardless of age, ability, experience and beliefs"
The choir are also looking for concert opportunities, so if your church, charity or event would like them to come and sing, please get in touch (details below). They will be working on some original versions of Christmas carols, as well as their usual repertoire, so Christmas events are welcome
The choir meets on Friday nights 7.30 - 9.30pm at Caister Methodist Church, Beach Road, Caister NR30 5EX and costs £2 per session to attend
Lolo says: "We look forward to seeing both old and new faces, and having a fabulous, fun, friendly, and funky time"
The Happy Day Gospel Choir was formed in 2011 by LoLo Wynans and Andy Hudson for the purpose of taking part in just one concert. Twelve years later they are still going strong, and travel round Norfolk performing and raising money for charity. This year they have already performed at Freethorpe Methodist Chapel and Wymondham Baptist Church
