TLC Knitting for ……….
It has amazed me, and continues to amaze me, that God is interested in knitting. On the morning of our monthly TLC Christian Craft Nite when we were going to begin knitting simple t-shaped jumpers for Bulgaria God reminded me that ‘He knits us together in our mothers womb’ and a colleague reminded me that Paul’s heart was ‘ that the disciples knit together in love’
Our month ended with a ‘Knit and Niceties Day’ at the Salvation Army Hall where many people joined us to knit and others came just to natter. We are able to send 30 plus jumpers and 5 blankets to the widows and orphans via the charity ‘Light for Bulgaria’. We thank Lt Rob Symons for use of the hall and thank God for his provision
TLC Knit ‘OR’ Natter Group
As we now have an enthusiastic band of both knitters and those who want to natter we have decided to hold a monthly ‘TLC Knit or Natter Group’ on the 3rd Saturday of the month 11-3pm at The Salvation Army Citadel, Great Yarmouth where folks are invited to join us to knit or just chat. Teas, coffees and homemade cakes will be available throughout the session and a simple lunch served mid-day
